London






London is a very beautiful city and it has interesting places to visit. We can find several aspects for of this city.


Climate can say it is unpredictable, with frequent rain. Temperature are generally soft but can lower a lot of in winter. The climate is a topic of conversation among the citizens of London, these people are always prepared for bad weather and rain. London has a Atlantic climate.






There are several forms of getting around London: metro, bus, on foot, cab...
The best option for getting around London is to use the metro, the metro has 12 lines coming out every few minutes, the London Underground has 275 subway stop which 63 spread across the center.





The London kitchen is very varied. The English People are marked by hosting the culinary traditions of other countries that to promote their own traditions.


There are london tipical dishes, which are fish&chips, roast beef, meat pies, Ensglish sausages, sweets.

With respect to drinking we can highlight the beer and tea.








The Britanic Museum situated in the fashionable Russell street, is one of de most famous museums in the world, thank to its impressive archaeological collection.


The museum was founded in 1753 thanks to the collections of Sir Hans Sloane.


The most famous objects are the Rosetta Stone, sculptures from the Parthenon, the English medieval remains found at Sutton Hoo and Mildenhall, Egyptian mummies and sarcophagi and the famous Roman Portland Vase.







This interesting museum on the banks of the Thames has an interesting collection of historic and contemporary British art from 1500 to today, including the works of such famous Bristish artist as JMW Turner, Thomas Gainsborough, John Constable, the Pre-Raphaelites, William Blake, David Hockney, Francis Bacon, and contemporary works of art contained in the series of "Art Now". This vast collection of art can be visited free of charge, and is supplemented throughout the year, with special exhibits related to art in Britain.
